Rt. Wor. Bro S. Daniel Moore

District Deputy Grand Master - 2015/2016

Rt. Wor. Bro S. Daniel Moore was born in Alliston, Ontario in 1957 and moved to Northern Ontario with the family in 1961. They lived on a farm just north of Hearst, Ontario for many years. After graduating, he hired on the railroad in 1976 as a Brakeman in Hornepayne, Ontario, and after almost 37 years as a Locomotive Engineer with Canadian National Railway and VIA Rail, he is currently retired.

He has three children, Jonathan, Patrick and Phillip ages 32, 30 and 30 and four grandchildren. His first wife, Jo-Ann, also from Hearst, passed away several years ago after a lengthy bout with cancer.

He is a co-owner of a cottage rental business on Fushimi Lake just off of Hwy 11. The lady in his life's name is Dawn and they enjoy hunting, fishing, the outdoors, woodworking, a nice glass of wine, traveling and visiting their grandchildren.

He has been a member of Hornepayne Lodge No. 636 for several years and is the IPM.
