MasoniCh.I.P Ontario is a Child Identification Program sponsored by the Masonic Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario, working with regional and national law enforcement agencies.

The MasoniCh.I.P. program uses modern, police-approved techniques to create a child identification kit for children and adults at risk.  The kit collects photos, video, voice recordings, digital fingerprints, dental impressions, saliva swabs as well as traditional statistical information (height, weight, hair and eye colour, etc.).  All of the collected information is given to the child's parent or guardian and nothing is kept by MasoniCh.I.P Ontario.

This information is matched to work seamlessly with Ontario's law enforcement providers. By being so compatible, the critical identifying information can be broadcast and shared quicker than ever before to assist with the safe recovery of missing children.

The MasoniCh.I.P. program is brought exclusively to families by dedicated Masons and their volunteers, free of charge along with our sentiment that "we hope you never need to use it."  To date, we have provided 6,978 kits to families in Northwestern Ontario and a total of 57,790 kits throughout Ontario.

The Northwestern Ontario Region extends  from the Manitoba border to Hornepayne, Ontario and clinics are held in Thunder Bay and in communities in this Region.  All clinic events are co-ordinated and staffed by volunteers and all kits and information are provided free of charge to participants.

Monies raised in Northwestern Ontario are allocated to the Northwestern Ontario Region by MasoniCh.I.P. Ontario  to purchase supplies needed and to purchase and update and/or replace computers.   The computers and programs we use are specialized.

The Charitable Registration Number for MasoniCh.I.P. is:      83182 5401 RR0001
